Quali sintomi l’osteopatia può trattare? 🌿

🌿

  • HEADACHES: excluding pains with a well-classified etiopathogenesis such as meningitis, encephalitis, tumours, subarachnoid haemorrhages etc. Osteopathy intervenes sometimes by easing the symptoms, sometimes by improving them considerably or eliminating them on: migraine, myotensive headache (of cervical origin), Arnold’s neuralgia, headache of psychological or nervous origin, facial vascular pain, facial neuralgia, post-traumatic headache, headaches of digestive, allergic, visual, menstrual, post-operative origin etc.
  • NOSE THROAT EAR: rhinitis, sinusitis, blocked nostrils, nasal haemorrhage. Sore throat, nasopharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, hoarseness, lack of voice, loss of taste and smell, otitis, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), plugged ears, hypoacusis (hearing loss).
  • VISUAL PROBLEMS: various cases of myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism, infantile strabismus, presbyopia, diplopia, nystagmus, inflammation, headaches when reading, visual fatigue, watery eyes, focusing disorders.
  • TEMPORO-MANDIBULAR JOINT SYNDROME: pain and discomfort in the jaw joint, but also headaches, neck and backaches, ear and throat problems, tiredness, insomnia due to the “troublemaker” the thunderstorm. It requires collaboration between dentist and osteopath.
  • INFECTIVE, VIRAL, ALLERGIC DISEASES: slightly helpful for the former by improving immune activity, more effective for chronic and recurring diseases, especially in respiratory tract disorders.
  • VISCERAL AND GHIANDULAR DISEASES: mainly affect diseases due to organ dysfunction and not to organ malformations.
  • POLMONARY PROBLEMS: tracheitis, dyspnoea, asthma. Cardiovascular problems: palpitations, arrhythmia, bradycardia, tachycardia, hypertension, haemorrhoids.
  • DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS: vagus syndrome, nausea, liver and gallbladder disorders, constipation, stomach pain and cramps, dyspepsia, hiatal hernia.
  • RENAL AND URINARY PROBLEMS: renal function, enuresis, polyuria, stranguria.
  • GENITAL, GYNAECOLOGICAL AND SEXUAL PROBLEMS: amenorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, congestion of the small pelvis, pain during coitus, prostate problems.
  • ARTROPATHY: arthritis, arthrosis, back pain, neuralgia. In the vast majority of cases, back pain is not produced by arthrosis, which is painless in the spine, but by osteopathic injuries. Peripheral joint pain can be caused by arthrosis, but also by an osteopathic or vertebral or peripheral injury. Sciatica, cruralgia, cervicobrachial neuralgia, periarthritis, and certain tendinitis are consequences of osteopathic injuries. Osteopathic lesions favour the rheumatic process and, conversely, rheumatism predisposes to osteopathic lesions. In particular cases of lumbago, lumbago, herniated discs, sciatica, cruralgia, osteopathic vertebral injuries with disc alteration, osteopathic treatments are particularly indicated.
